JHACO is an independent, not-for-profit organization. The Joint Commission is responsible for accrediting and certifying nearly 21,000 health care organizations and programs across the US. Joint Commission accreditation and certification is considered as a gold standard of measurement for an organization’s commitment to meeting certain performance standards symbolising the highest standards of quality.

The National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers
The National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers stands at the forefront of the addiction treatment field, speaking with a clear and unified voice on behalf of its 300 members since 1978. NAATP is an advocate for fair and equal recognition of the services its member organizations provide and for the patients they serve.

South County Recovery Residence Association
SCRRA is a community based version of FARR. They serve south Palm Beach County and monitor treatment programs in that area. Because they operate on such a concentrated level, they’re able to know the treatment modalities of various programs intimately. An certification from SCRRA is tantamount to a seal of approval from the local community.

Florida Association of Recovery Residences
FARR is an independent organization comprised of experts in the field of addiction medicine and substance abuse treatment. Their primary purpose is to make sure standards of living and treatment at addiction rehabs are stellar. They make sure treatment centers don’t over bill or offer services they’re not licensed to offer.

The State of Florida
The State of Florida issues licenses to practice addiction medicine and run addiction treatment centers. They make sure that all facilities meet state standards for excellence of care and that appropriate therapeutic techniques and interventions are being used.

Department of Children and Families
DCF also issues licenses to addiction treatment facilities. While the State of Florida primarily makes sure programs are up to par in terms of state standards, DCF monitors programs for patient abuse or neglect. They also make sure industry best standards are implemented and continued.
