A Letter to Family From Lighthouse

Dear Family,

First, let me say thank you for trusting us with the care of your loved one. We understand how frightening and scary it can be to deal with a loved one’s addiction, and rest assured we do not take lightly to the fact that you have entrusted their treatment to our team. That is why we wrote this letter to family members.

Second, we feel the more you know about us and the treatment that we provide the better you will feel as we begin the process of bringing your patient into what will hopefully be a lifelong journey of recovery.

Lighthouse Recovery Institute

At Lighthouse Recovery Institute, we believe in individualized, patient-centered treatment. We believe in meeting each patient where they are at in terms of their addiction and their recovery. We offer treatment programs for our patients, where they are able to receive treatment for substance abuse, trauma and continuing care for eating disorders in a positive, safe environment. Your loved one’s treatment plan will be tailored by our clinical staff to their specific physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs.

Our compassionate and trusted staff will make sure that your family member is treated with respect and that they are in a safe environment while receiving the comprehensive addiction treatment we offer at Lighthouse Recovery Institute. We stress the importance of family involvement during your loved one’s treatment stay here, both to support the patient, establish healthy boundaries and create a recovery-oriented healthy family system.

We praise you in taking the first step in the recovery process. Both you and your loved one have sought help and our qualified clinical, medical and support staff are here to walk with you through this process.

If you have any questions about your loved one’s treatment now or in the future, we are available and look forward to hearing from you. Our staff will do everything in our power to guide you through this trying time.

Warmest Regards,
Brittany Ringersen
