Addiction Treatment Programs at Lighthouse Recovery Institute
Our Individualized Addiction Treatment Programs
Providing a comprehensive and intricate approach to treating addicting by developing a unique treatment plan that best meets the individual’s clinical and medical needs is our primary goal. Offering evidenced-based therapies by experts in their field, we offer a supplemental curriculum which can be integrated into the programming for individuals whom will benefit.
Most individuals living with co-occurring disorders require customized treatment plans designed to support them in addressing personal challenges they experience. Focusing on psychotherapies, medication management, trauma resolution, life skills and a variety of other treatment-related services allow for a spotlight to be shown on areas that need improvement and measurable progress to be made during treatment.

Drug and Alcohol Detox
Being willing to accept help is the first step toward recovery from addiction. Admitting into a Medical Detox is the next step in the right direction. Detox is designed to be the foundation upon which the rest of your recovery program is made. This time can be initially, very overwhelming. It is the first few days when your body is getting free of the toxic chemicals and substances that have been consumed for months or years. There are post-acute withdrawal symptoms, cravings, insomnia, and other physical side effects which make it very challenging and often dangerous. The relief that comes with supportive medical staff who provide supervision and comfort is unparalleled.
Drug and Alcohol Rehab (PHP)
Drug and Alcohol Treatment involves individuals progressing through a full continuum of care. This program is ideal for meeting the needs of individuals that struggle with drug addiction, alcoholism, or co-occurring disorders. Family therapy, medical-based models and holistic models are under the umbrella of this evidence-based program. By offering a variety of options, it allows individuals amble opportunities to meet their recovery goals.
Intensive Outpatient Treatment
A standard intensive outpatient treatment program (IOP) requires individuals to have at least nine hours of therapy each week. Programming will consist of a mixture of several hours of group therapy and one hour of individual therapy. Group sessions are flexible which is one of the most significant benefits of this program for those individuals who work or are in school. Group sessions range in duration but approximately 3 hours in length. Morning, afternoon or evening groups provide ample opportunities for every person to have a schedule that will fit into their lifestyle as they embark back into their normal lives after completing higher levels of addiction treatment.
Dual Diagnosis Treatment
Dual Diagnosis treatment programs incorporate the most applicable evidence-based psychological and psychiatric therapies to provide comprehensive treatment services for mental health and co-occurring difficulties. Depression, Borderline Personality Disorder, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, and Trauma are some of the most common forms of mental health concerns for individuals seeking dual diagnosis treatment. Providing psychiatric evaluations, weekly medication management sessions, intensive process, and evidenced-based specialty group therapy sessions and continuing care planning are a few of the highlights of this treatment program.
Medication Assisted Treatment
Medication Assisted Treatment is an innovative approach regarding alcohol, opiate and other addictions that combines behavioral therapy with FDA-approved medications such as Suboxone or Naltrexone. Everyone that enters programming will have the benefits from a comprehensive psychiatric assessment at the onset of their treatment episode. The thorough clinical and medical team work together through a multi-disciplinary approach to identify core issues and any underlying mental health concerns or diagnosis which might require further attention and treatment.
Family Recovery Program
Addiction and mental health issues impact the entire family system. The more support families have, the better they can engage in healthy self-care while they continue to support their loved one seeking treatment for their substance use disorder. Participation in family recovery programming is beneficial and lowers the risk of relapse for patients. In this program, families will learn tools such as improving the quality of their relationship and more effective strategies for communication.
Outpatient programs provide weekly continuing care ranging from 1 to 5 days per week. The primary focus of these groups and individual sessions depends on individual needs and unique specialty topics. These sessions tend to meet the individual where they are at regarding their current level of functioning in recovery. This program is advantageous as a step-down from the intensive outpatient treatment program. It helps with maintaining therapeutic advances made during prior programming and is an added layer of accountability.
Long-Term Addiction Treatment
Long-term addiction treatment provides a variation in the curriculum for the individual. Concerning intensive therapy and effective modalities, this program has the highest rate of success. Individuals can focus on their core issues and create an individualized treatment program that will best meet their needs. The objective is to ensure a safe and smooth community reintegration component after completing rehab while preparing individuals for long-term success in recovery.
