How Much Do Rehab Costs at Lighthouse Recovery Institute?

Money makes the world go round. It’s cliche, but it’s, unfortunately, a true statement. Money is also something that addicts often do not have a lot of due to the hold that drugs and alcohol may have on their lives. We get a lot of questions about how much rehab costs at Lighthouse Recovery Institute. However, there’s no right or wrong answer to this question.

Cost Varies Depending on Levels of Care

Addiction treatment involves various levels of care, and each one brings different facilities, personnel, and medication requirements. Therefore, each level of treatment costs an additional amount.

A detox facility may only house a client for a week or two but needs to have proper medical equipment and nurses on staff 24/7 to monitor each client’s status. These facilities also need to have ample space for each of its clients to reasonably eat, sleep, and bathe daily.

After detox, patients may continue lower treatment levels while living in one of the Lighthouse Recovery Institute’s residential facilities.

The cost of these other levels of treatment is depending on the number of hours of treatment involved. Partial hospitalization (PHP) is a full-time program consisting of upward of 30 hours per week. PHP will cost more than lower levels of care, such as intensive outpatient or outpatient treatment.

In addition to the level of care, the length of care and housing arrangements may impact treatment costs. Those who live in the Lighthouse Recovery Institute residences stay anywhere from 30 to 90 days or longer.

No two patients are the same. Everyone needs a different amount of time to make the necessary breakthroughs and overcome addiction. All clients who live in one of the sober houses must be enrolled and actively participating in partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, or outpatient treatment.

How to Pay for Drug Rehab

There are multiple ways to pay for treatment. The good news is that most insurance plans provide coverage for addiction treatment. Lighthouse Recovery Institute is in-network with a range of different insurance providers across the country.

What If I Don’t Have Insurance?

If the individual looking for treatment does not have insurance, that does not mean they are out of luck. There are still multiple options to cover how much Lighthouse rehab would cost. This could include self-pay options and payment plans, financing options, and scholarships.

Considering the Total Cost of Rehab

Although it is estimated that tens of millions of people across the United States are struggling with a substance use disorder, only about 10% of these people receive professional addiction treatment each year. There are numerous costs associated with rehab, in addition to the actual treatment program. This may include but is not limited to:

  • The cost of traveling to the treatment facility (plane ticket, bus, rideshare, or gas)
  • Possible living arrangements
  • Missed paychecks for taking time off work
  • Childcare
  • Pet care

Getting Help No Matter What

Regardless of the monetary cost of treatment, there are potentially higher costs when treatment is not received. It is common for individuals struggling from addiction to face several costly consequences due to their drinking or drug use, such as losing their house, losing their job, getting a DIU, facing a divorce, having their children taken away, and potentially losing most things of all: their life. There is no cost so high that it is beyond worth saving your life.
